However, we are starting to see an increase in the number of listings hitting the market, as we typically do during the spring and summer.

If you want to make top dollar on your house this season, there are some important steps to take before putting it up for sale. In this newsletter, we will talk about all the important ways to prep your home before jumping into the hot housing market!

Is Staging Your Home Worth The Effort?

Many sellers have asked me, does staging your home really make that much of a difference? People don’t want to put in the effort to clean and stage their home if it isn't going to impact their final sales price, and I don’t blame them, neither would I!

So, is it worth it? Let’s look at the stats. According to a survey by the National Association of Realtors…

  • 62% of real estate agents said that staging your home decreases the time it spends on the market.

  • 50% of homes that were staged saw a 1-10% increase in dollar value from buyer offers.

  • 77% of buyers said looking at a staged home helped them visualize living in the home as their own.

During a showing or open house, buyers like to imagine their own lives in the home, rather than feeling like they are a guest in someone else's house. Having neutral décor and complimenting furniture creates a peaceful environment for buyers.

In this market, it's not a matter of IF your home will sell, but how quickly and at what price. Going the extra mile with professional staging, photography, and great marketing will ensure your home stands out as more sellers join the market.

Good news for all our sellers... complimentary staging is included with ALL of our listings, and we have an incredible in-house advertising agency who will be putting your home in the spotlight.

Every home is unique, and so is the marketing strategy for each one. Wondering what needs to be done to best prepare your home for the market? Respond to this email and let's chat about it!
